House at the End of the Street is a movie filled with thriller though the name suggests that the house is haunted or any creepy creature is living in it. The movie 2k is based on a family where a mother and daughter shift to a new place.
They have a weird neighborhood and Jennifer Lawrence who plays the role of Elisa is seventeen year old and is interested in a weird guy living in neighborhood named Ryan. Despite the mother’s disapproval she starts to hang out with him. The story proceeds as she starts to find out strange things about the guy.
Ryan is a guy who belongs to a family whose parents were drug addicts. As known fact 1 of every 5 children whose parents are addicts follow the same footsteps of parents. Ryan is one of such kids, who developed same habits as his parents.As Elisa starts to know him more she is bothered about the weird habits that he has in him.
Story still continues but thriller gets dropped in certain points due to slow pace. Despite the story dip Jennifer Lawrence is successful to keep the attention of the viewers due to her strong screen presence and magnetic personality.
Soon the actress finds out that the house where Ryan is living is the place where 2 murders were committed by his sister.
The girl kills her parents and is drowned for yet the locals never found the body. Movie2k continues to thrill till the climax. People with thriller taste will find it interesting.
