David Ayer is the director of the movie End of Watch who also happens to be the writer of the movie.
He has displayed the life of L.A. cops who guard the city while others are sleeping carefree. Ayer has been with L.A. cops since many years and has tried his best to draw a clear and an honest picture of them.
We see a lot of movies where a cop life or people having authority are depicted. End of watch is one of such movie where two cops are shown who are struggling every day to deal with situation. To keep make it a daily life movie the pace is kept normal. So many things are happening on and off.
The chemistry between the friends is depicted very interestingly. They talk with each other about their different cultures in a very easy way and have strong bond to share each other’s secretes. Their personality is shown as a cop who is watching everything even if he is laughing.
The movie2k is not revolved around a definite resolution to give interest but rather on on-off pace. Though when you start to watch the movie you might be indifferent about the two guys but as the movie proceeds to the climax you will tend to develop interest and making you care for what happens to them in the end.
Some parts of this movie 2k could have been better if they were flawless. The goons and cartel image seems a little exaggerating.
