The Girl With The Dragon Tatto is based on the first book of the trilogy thriller "Milenium", which had been wrote by the Sweedish writer Stieg Larsson.
In the middle of our movie plot, staring the journalist Mikael Blomkvist who is making a investigation on a very strong tycoon.
As a result of his investigation, Mikael is being accused of libel - He got into jail,a financial penalty, his name was defamed and in the end he had to resign the newspaper he worked for.
In the time that left before his is getting into jail, Henrik Wagner , an influential industrialist Swede contact him, and ask him to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a related family girl, Harriet.
Wenger suspect that Harriet was murdered by one of their family members. The big problem is that all of this accident happened 40 years ago.
After following him without his knowledge, joins to the Blomkvist's questioning a young woman named Lisbeth Salander (Nomi Rafais), brilliant hacker, tattooed and heavily pierced with a traumatic past and present mess.
Blomkvist and Salander tie the disappearance of Harriet to a number of strange murders that took place even before the disappearance, starts to be exposed to the dark and gruesome history of the Wanger big family.
