The story circulates around Scott Voss played by Kevin James, who is an ex-collegiate wrestler and now a bored teacher of biology at Wilkinson High School, which is a failing school now.
There has been cutbacks in the school and it endangers the persistence of musical program that could result to Mart, the teacher, played by Henry Winkler to be laid off. Since he is concerned for both of his students and colleagues, Voss then attempts to raise a whooping $48,000, which is needed for keeping up their music program an alive one.
Firstly, he works as a night tutor for the citizenship class. Niko, one of his students then approached him about getting some tutoring outside of the school and yet, he agrees reluctantly. When he comes up to Niko’s apartment, he discovers that his student was then an ex-mixed martial arts fighter.
Whilst watching UFC at his student’s apartment, he learns that the fight’s loser would receive $10,000 giving him the idea of getting into fight alone. Will he ever get the chance to raise the money?
